Robin Johnson has appeared on National Public Radio, American Public Media, with Prairie Home Productions and the Ordway. On stage, she has acted at the Mixed Blood Theater, The Fitzgerald Theatre, for Commedia Beauregard, Starting Gate Productions, The Walker Arts Center, Creative Time of New York, and CalibanCo Theatre Company. She was named Best Twin Cities Actress of the Year by Lavender Magazine for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth I in the area premiere of Timothy Findley's Elizabeth Rex. She is also the founder of The New Place.
